Pastor Shirley Thomas

A nurse by profession, Pastor Shirley resigned in 1999 to fully commit herself to God’s calling alongside her husband. In 2003, she was brought back from the brink of death after a severe medication reaction that caused Steven-Johnson Syndrome often called the “mother of all allergies.” As she lay on her deathbed, whispering, “Thank You, Jesus, for everything,” God spoke to her through a series of visions that birthed the Kids Ministry at NewJeevan Church and a school for underprivileged children. She walked out of the hospital completely healed, with her skin specialist testifying, "For skin to heal like this is a miracle."

Today, she leads Transformers Kids Church, a vibrant ministry where multiple leaders have been raised and mentored, and thousands of children have been transformed and are now living impactful lives.

Pastor Shirley is also a powerful prayer warrior, playing a key role in raising intercessors and inspiring women to walk boldly with the Lord.
